Hurricane ‘Dorian’:- Another 1,300 missing in the Bahamas, now threatened by a new storm

Ten days after the devastating passage of Hurricane ‘Dorian’, some 1,300 people remain missing in the Bahamas, where a new storm has threatened to make landfall today (13/9/2019).

The US National Hurricane Centre has indicated that a new Tropical Storm Warning could be issued for central and north-western Bahamas and Florida, and that strong winds and heavy rains are expected today and tomorrow, on the islands affected by ‘Dorian’.

The Depression which is likely to turn into a Storm was around 380 kilometres southeast of the Abaco Islands, with an 80 per cent chance of turning into a Storm whiten the next 48 hours.
