No Google apps on Huawei’s new smartphone

Huawei’s new flagship smartphones are powered by its own version of the Android Operating System; however, but they lack G-Mail, Youtube, Maps or any other Google apps.

The Chinese company says, US export sanctions are the reason why the 5G devices lack full Android support.

Huawei officials introduced the ‘Mate 30’ series in Munich-Germany, yesterday.
The devices run on an open-source version of Android.

The CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group: Richard Yu said, US moves to blacklist the company, blocked the phones from getting access to Google’s app-downloading service.
