The disabled soldiers end their fast unto death campaign in Colombo

The disabled soldiers who were on a fast unto death for 20 days in front of the fort railway station have ended their fast. Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa and Minister Sajith Premadasa who went this morning to the place of the fast, held discussions with them. Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the United National Front Sajith Premadasa said that steps will be taken soon to provide solutions to the problems of the disabled soldiers. He said that a cabinet proposal in this regard would be submitted to the cabinet tomorrow.
