People’s Action Front for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) Executive Director Rohana Hettiarachchi says no incidents related to election violence have been reported so far. He said reports of no incidents indicates a sign of a developed political culture. It is important to maintain this stance to continue a free and fair presidential election. He also said that over six thousand election monitors will be deployed to monitor the forthcoming presidential election and for the first time PAFFREL will be monitoring social media for extreme content.
