The Supreme Court has appointed a five-judge bench to consider the petitions filed against the signing of the Millennium Challenge Corporation Agreement with the United States. Justice Buwaneka Aluwihare is the Chairman of the bench appointed by chief justice Jayanthi Jayasooriya. The other members are Supreme Court judges L.T.B Dehideniya, Murdu Fetrnando, S.Thureiraja and Gamini Amarasekara. The petitions filed by GMOA, Lawyer Darshana Wereduwage and Venerable Anguruwelle Ginanda Thero will be considered on Wednesday.
