Prices of bakery items go down due to tax concessions. All Island Bakery Owners’ Association says price of each bakery item will be reduced by five rupees in order to pass the relief of tax slashes to consumers. Chairman of the Association A.R. Jayawardena says that price of kilo of cake also goes down by 50 rupees due to the tax cut.
