Minister Dullas Alahapperuma says that all unemployed graduates will be given jobs before the 1st of March without any differences. It will be implemented according to the manifesto of the president. During a media briefing today in Colombo He said that the proposal will be submitted to the next cabinet meeting to take the relevant policy decision. The government has paid its attention on giving a special training for the graduates under the programme. According to an observation of the President, the Inland Revenue Department needs 117 graduates and there is a surplus of graduates at divisional secretariats where they were recruited as development officers. Minister Alahapperuma said that the President has paid his attention on directing graduates to fields based on their degree, and skills.
