Postmortem examination on the three Sri Lankan students who died of smoke inhalation in Azerbaijan has been completed. Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the government of Azerbaijan has informed this to the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Tehran. However, Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said that the Sri Lankan government has made arrangements to bring the remains of the female students within 24 hours to Sri Lanka. Three Sri Lankan female students died of smoke inhalation in a fire due to an electrical shortage which occurred at their apartment in Baku, Azerbaijan on Friday.
