Former President Chandrika Kumaratunga has been removed from the post of seat organizer. SLFP media spokesmen Weerakumara Dissanayake said that the decision was taken by the central committee and the politburo of the SLFP which met last night. Former President Kumaratunga was the Attanagalla seat organizer. The SLFP media spokesman told the SLBC that the reason for her removal was that she was giving leadership to other group against the party policies during the recent past.
