State Minister Keheliya Rambukwella says that the Parliament will be dissolved on the 2nd of March. The Minister stated that the general election will be held without any delay at the first possible time according to the constitutional provisions. He made this statement at a press conference held today. He further stated that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will not postpone the General Election and the policy of the government is to protect the rights of the people. He further stated that the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna intends to obtain the support of minority parties to win the forthcoming General Election.
