33 Sri Lankans quarantined at Diyatalawa have arrived at the army headquarters in Akuregoda

33 students and family members who returned to the island from China after the outbreak of new COVID-19 and kept at the Army facility at Diyatalawa army camp , will meet the acting Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, at  the army headquarters in Akuiregoda this afternoon. They left for Colombo this morning from Diyathalawa.   They arrived in Sri Lanka from China on 1st of this month and  spent 14 days at the Diyathalawa army hospital. They will have the opportunity to reunite  with their families  within the next few days.    Arrangements were made under a directive of President Gotabhaya Rajapakse to bring these students and their family members back to Sri Lanka
