A series of advice from the Commissioner General of Examinations to students who will sit for the Year Five Scholarship Examination tomorrow

The Year Five Scholarship Examination will begin tomorrow. 355 thousand and 326 candidates will sit the exam at 3,050 centers. The exam will commence at 9.30 am and end at 12 noon. The first question paper starts at 9.30am and will continue until 10.15am – the duration is 45 minutes. However, The commissioner general of examinations B Sanath Poojitha informs the candidates are required to be seated by 9.00am.
The examination consists of two question papers. The second paper starts at 10.45am and continues until 12 noon – the duration is 1 hour and 15 minutes. The candidates should pin their number on the left side of their uniforms.
The children can use pencil or blue and black pen for the answer papers. The index number should be mentioned correctly. The unauthorized people are banned from entering the examination centers during the period of examination. The commissioner general of examinations says the office of the Principals should be kept close during that time. Publishing of the examination paper and keeping it in possession following the exam of exam paper are prohibited. He has requested to inform the nearest police station, police headquarters or the department of examination about any such violation. The hotline of the Department 1901 is open for this purpose
