The presidential Secretariat says that the curfew in Colombo, Gampaha, Puttalam districts and in five districts of the Northern Province will be removed at 6.00 am tomorrow. The release issued by the Director General Presidential media division Mohan Samaranayaka says that curfew will be re-imposed in those districts at 12.00 noon again tomorrow. The curfew in those Districts will be effective until 6.00 am on Friday. The curfew will be re-imposed on those districts at 12.00 noon again on Friday. The curfew, except for those 8 districts, will coming to effect at 2.00 pm today. It will be lifted at 6.00 am on Thursday and re-imposed on 12.00 noon again on the same day. Meanwhile travelling between all districts has been banned. Movement of foreign tourists have also been banned. Farming activities can be done despite the curfew. Opportunity has been given to transport essential goods including rice and vegetables.
