Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa says the government has taken measures to prevent Covid-19 outbreak and to normalize public life at a meeting held in the Speaker’s Official Residence with the members of the Constitutional Council, the prime minister further said that attention has also been focused to solve the problems of Sri Lankan migrant workers serving in middle-east countries. The government has also arranged a programme to bring the Sri Lankan students in foreign universities back to the country. At this meeting Former Speaker Karu Jayasuriya said that he has no intention to reconvene the parliament as it may lead to a crisis. He pointed out the need of the all political parties to work collectively disregarding political differences at this juncture.
