China has handed over a donation of medical supplies to Sri Lanka to combat Covid-19 pandemic worth over 211 million rupees. The aid, which includes 50,000 medical masks and 1,008 Covid-19 test kits, was handed over by Hu Wei, charge d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy, to Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi today. The Ambassador also handed over a report that included China’s measures taken to control the pandemic in their land. Minister Wanniarachchi expressed gratitude to the Chinese government and the people and said that China is a long-time friend of Sri Lanka.
