The Prime Minister vests with the students the new technology faculty of Sri Jayewardenepura University

The new technology faculty of Sri Jayewardenepura University was vested with the students at Homagama, Pitipana Technology Park under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. It is Sri Lanka’s first and the biggest technology faculty and the government has spent three billion rupees for the faculty. There are facilities for 1,600 students to follow studies at the technology faculty. A commemorative stamp was issued to mark the occasion.
