Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed the Chairman of Electricity Board to take necessary measures to get electricity of 38 small power plants whose agreements have been suspended during the time of the good governance government, to the Electricity Board. The small scale power plants belong to local entrepreneurs. The Electricity Board will take measures next week to get electricity of those 38 small power plants. They are expected to add 75 megawatts of power to the national grid.
