Tokyo 2020: Olympics and Paralympics may have ‘limited spectators’

The Tokyo 2020 chief executive Toshiro Muto says the Olympics and Paralympics could be held in front of “a limited number of spectators” due to Covid-19. Muto said the organisers will do everything to make it to the opening ceremony on 23 July, 2021. Moreover, he added that the International Olympic Committee does not want to put the Games back a further year until 2022.
