The BMISTEC state leaders’ summit will ceremonially commence at 3.00 pm today in Nepal, Kathmandu. The leaders of seven member countries have arrived in Kathmandu. Nepalese media reported their Prime Minister Serma Oly who is also the chairman of BMISTEC will open the summit. Thereafter, the other state leaders will address the summit. The attention will be paid mainly on eradicating poverty, trade, investment, tourism , climate change and on security challenges at the summit. They will also pay their attention on setting up the BMISTEC development fund, establishing regional organization and related matters.
