The Department of Buddhist Affairs advises the Chief Incumbents of the Buddhist Temples and Centres, to strictly adhere to the Covid 19 health guidelines while conducting the Annual Katina Pinkama this year. The department requests to limit the ceremonies to the essential rituals only owing to the situation with the participation of a minimum number of devotees. The Department says only five Buddhist monks and 30 laymen should take part in such religious activities.
