Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse says that all plans have been made to provide water to everyone by the end of 2024. While attending the opening of 2nd face of Kelani River south bank water supply project this morning, The Prime Minister said that necessary allocations have been set a part by the budget presented yesterday. The Project is implemented to coincide with the vistas of prosperity manifesto to provide clean drinking water to everyone by 2025. People in Colombo and Gampaha areas will benefit by the project. More than 120,000 new water connections will be given by the project which has cost more than 32 billion rupees. More than 1,750,000 people will be benefitted.
