The government says there is no censorship for media

Media minister Keheliya Rambukwella emphasizes that the government will not take any action out of the facts included at the Saubhagya Dekhma Policy Manifesto. The 6.9 million mandate and 150 majority in parliament have been received to implement that policy manifesto. He made these remarks participating in a cabinet briefing held today. He assured any decision will not be taken against the Saubhagya Dekhma Policy Manifesto. He believes that the Covid 19 vaccination could be given for expected group by the month of April. He also pointed out that no any regulatory or censorship for media at any time.
Answering a question raised by a media-man , he said that bringing of migrant workers to the country is being carried out systematically. At present more than 85 thousand Sri Lankan foreign workers have arrived in the country. The Covid eradication programme is also being carried out successfully.
