Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe says the government will face successfully to the crisis arisen due to the increase of a value of dollar, as the government faced several crises in the past few years during its forward march move. Opening resource centre in the Lurdu Maha Vidyalaya in Naththandiya last morning he said several discussions have already been commenced for the measures to be taken in this regard.
He also said that the government will not reduce funds allocated for the education and health sectors amidst the the global economic crisis. Dollar appreciation is a common phenomenon in world countries. It is not focuses Sri Lanka. There are many other Asian countries affected due to this dollar appreciation. The premier further said that effective steps will be taken to control Rupee devaluation.
