The consumers complain that the price of rice varieties are increased at some private sales outlets. It is understood that some errant traders are increasing the price of rice arbitrarily without considering the government control prices. This is for the attention of Consumer Affairs Authority. When inquired about this matter , the CAA authorities promised to do a routine check and raids to nab the errant traders.
