The US President Joe Biden wants summit with Putin over Ukraine issue

The US President Joe Biden has proposed holding a summit meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a third country to discuss Moscow’s military buildup on Ukraine’s border and in Crimea. The White House said in a statement that Biden emphasized the United States’ unwavering commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It also said Biden expressed concerns about the military buildup that Russia has been conducting on its border with Ukraine and on the Crimean Peninsula since March. The statement also said Biden reaffirmed that his goal is to build a stable and predictable relationship with Russia, consistent with US interests.
