The Supreme Court today postponed further consideration of petitions challenging the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Draft Bill, until tomorrow. The petitions are expected to be taken up for consideration from 10.00 a.m. tomorrow. Earlier today, the petitions were called before a five-member Supreme Court bench consisting of Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya, Justices Buwaneka Aluvihare, Priyantha Jayawardena, Murdu Fernando and Janak de Silva for the fourth consecutive day. Nearly 20 petitions have been submitted against the Draft Bill by many parties.
