In a new assessment made public today, the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change reveals,
“Limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celcius would require rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society”.

This dramatic report on keeping that rise under 1.5 degrees Celcius states; the world is now completely off track, heading instead towards a rise of three degrees Celcius.

The report will be a key scientific input, at the Katowice Climate Change Conference in Poland this December, when governments review the Paris Agreement to tackle Climate Change.
The report continues; the task will be hugely expensive, but the window of opportunity is not yet closed.
