The US government officials have accused China of a global campaign of cyber-attacks. Secretary of State Antony Blinken issued a statement that blamed Beijing for what he called irresponsible, disruptive and destabilizing behavior. Government analysts in a report said the Chinese intelligence agency instructed hackers to carry out attacks on the US and its allies. They said the groups targeted firms that use an email service from Microsoft. The hackers used ransomware to obtain confidential information and extort victims for millions of dollars.
