Israel is offering work visa for Sri Lankans in its agricultural sector. Deputy Minister Manusha Nanayakkara says the International Organization for Migration has mediated to ensure this benefit. A Sri Lankan delegation led by him toured Israel and signed the relevant agreement. During discussions, it was pointed out that many of the 500 Sri Lankans who were employed in Israel’s agricultural sector temporarily are overstaying their visas. As a result, Sri Lanka will get a reduced job quota. Nursing employment for 500 Sri Lankans in Israel was also discussed
