The National University Teachers Association submitted a complaint against Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to Bribery and Corruption investigation commission yesterday. The complaint says the speaker has backtracked the promise he made earlier of accepting the new Prime Minister appointed by the the president. Under this circumstance, the speaker has not only changed his word, but also violated the constitution norms. This is also considered as an act with internal motives, therefore, the association suspects that the speaker has acted in a biased manner with some corruptive motives. This can be considered as a bribed act.
