Secretary of the Sri Lanka Samasamaja Party Prof. Thissa Witharana says that holding an election is the best solution for the present political crisis. He was speaking at a press briefing held in Colombo today.

Joining the Media Briefing Minister Wasudeva Nanayakkara said that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has a majority to setup a government. Mr. Wasudeva Nanayakkara added that it is a hilarious statement to say the government is illegal.
