The Sri Lanka United Grama Niladhari Association says that the new government has agreed to a service minute with a new salary system which will provide to many problems of the grama niladharies. They pointed out that although they were making demands for several years, it was not implemented. They further said that following discussions with Minister Susil Premajayantha, it was agreed to submit a draft cabinet paper to resolve the problem. The Association said that the draft has been sent to the cabinet at present.
