Speaking at a media briefing held at the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Head Office today, Parliamentarian: Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane said, the parliamentary sittings held these days are illegal and unconstitutional, and therefore legal action will be taken against the individuals responsible, in the future.
Joining in the media briefing, Parliamentarian: John Seneviratne said, a new amendment to the Constitution should be drafted.

Meanwhile, speaking at a media briefing held in Colombo this evening, Parliamentarian: Anura Priyadarshana Yapa said, attempts to make the Parliament supreme have resulted in making the Parliament weak, while attempts to clip the powers of the Executive have resulted in making the Executive stronger. He says, instead of enacting amendments to the Constitution piece-by-piece, a full amendment of the Constitution needs to take place.
