The consumer affairs authority has requested the business community to be vigilant of individuals who are imposing as their officials. They said that during the past few days some individuals without declaring their identities have visited shops in some areas and demanded money after intimidating them. The consumer affairs authority said that their officials would produce their identity cards before inspections. They further said that if the business community has any doubts they can contact them over the telephone number 0117 10 88 922. Apart from this then authority requests the traders to inform about any suspicious individuals over the telephone number 0117 10 88 921.
