Chief of the Committee of Administrators of the Board of Control for Cricket in India: Vinod Rai has recommended a two-ODI ban on Indian players: Hardik Pandya and K.L. Rahul, for their controversial comments on women, in a TV show.
If the ban is imposed, the duo could miss the first two matches of a three-ODI series against Australia, starting on Saturday in Sydney.
Pandya’s comments on the show were slammed as sexist. On the show, he had boasted about dating with multiple women, and how open he has been about it with his parents!
Rahul – who was more restrained during the show – has not yet reacted to the social media storm.
The two players were given 24 hours by the Board of Control for Cricket in India to explain themselves.
