The Ceylon Electricity Board takes 2,500 persons to court over electricity-related offences

The Ceylon Electricity Board says 2,500 persons were caught committing electricity-related offences last year.

The offences included pilfering electricity and changing the electricity meters. The CEB has earned 130 million rupees by way of fines imposed on the offenders.
