Several development activities in the Jaffna District will be vested with the public under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe today. The new building of Walikamam, Kopai east divisional secretariat will be opened this morning. The progress review meeting of housing, resettlement and development activities will take place at the Jaffna District Secretariat under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe. The Prime Minister will also open the accident service of the Jaffna Teaching Hospital in the afternoon. He will make an observation tour of Palali airport and Kankasanturai Harbour and thereafter would lay the foundation stone for the resettlement housing project at Mailiddi Village. Several other development activities will commence tomorrow under the patronage of the Prime Minister. Laying the foundation stone for the accident service of Kilinochchi hospital and laying the foundation stone for Palamunai resettlement village are among them. The Prime Minister will attend progress review meetings at Mannar, Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu today and day after.
