President Maithripala Sirisena says the number of kidney patients have been decreased due to the extensive programme conducted during the past 4 years to prevent the kidney disease. The president said that public services have been strengthened during the past 4 years despite the criticism leveled by some people. The president said this today while attending the function to vest with the public Methsiri Sevana Kidney Patient Welfare and Research Center affiliated to Anuradhapura General Hospital built at a cost of more than 430 million rupees.
