The results of the GCE Ordinary Level Examination held in December 2018 have been released. The results are now available on the official website www.doenets.lk . The Examinations Department said that when obtaining results the correct index number should be entered.  Hotline 1911 is also available for inquiring results.
The number of candidates was 656,641 and 71 percent of the students have qualified for A-Levels.  – 9,413 students have obtained nine ‘A’ s.
The result sheets of the Colombo and Sri Jayawardenapura educational zones will be issued to the relevant principals of schools after 10.00 am today. The rest of the result sheets will be posted today.
Nilakna Warusavithana of Colombo Vishaka Vidyalaya is on the top of the list. There are three second places. G.A. Savithi Hansadi of Colombo Vishaka Vidyalaya , Sanjani Dileka Kumari of Gamapaha Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya, K.K. Mindi Rebeka of Matara Sujatha Vidyalaya.
L.A. Gayathri Harshila of St. Joseph’s Girls School in Kegalle is the 3rd place of the list.
The candidates who expects to apply for re-correction should submit their applications to the Examinations Department on register post before 12th of April.
