Another 400 acres of land of private owners will be released by Sri Lanka Army in Jaffna

Measures are being taken to release 400 acres of land in the Mayiliddy area in the Jaffna Valikaamam region.

This was revealed during an observation tour undertaken by Northern Province Governor Suren Raghavan in the area recently.

Further Northern Commander Major General Dharshana Hettiarachchi told media while commenting on the issue that they hoped to release the lands “after funds are allocated to transfer the Army Camp which is located in the area.”

The Governor visited the Mayiliddykarai North area which was recently released by the security forces.
