A meeting between Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe and Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapakse took place at Temple Trees, this morning.
Considering the situation in the country, a ‘Concessions Pack’ for the benefit of the people was also discussed between them.
The discussion, which lasted more than an hour, focused on the way- forward, and the economic situation of the country, in the aftermath of the Easter Sunday attacks.
The Opposition Leader was accompanied by MPs Dinesh Gunawardhana, Bandula Gunawardhana, and Udaya Gammanpila.
The Premier attended the discussion with Non-Cabinet Minister: Dr Harsha De Silva, and Governor of the Central Bank: Dr. Indrajith Coomaraswamy.
