Sri Lanka’s first agriculture entrepreneurship model village programme will commence on Saturday. Kahaththewela village in Haputale has been selected to develop first under the programme. The agricultural ministry will spent 80 million rupees for the development work in the village. Minister Mahinda Amaraweera has instructed officials to continue with the model village programme on agriculture entrepreneurs.
