Meanwhile, when contacted by SLBC, Deputy General Manager of the CTB: P.H.R.T.O Chandrasiri said, since they were aware of the Railway strike action in advance, it was possible to deploy additional buses, so as to not let passengers be inconvenienced.
These additional buses have been deployed on the Expressways, as well. He further stated, the situation is being monitored, and depending on the requirement adequate buses will be deployed, this evening.
