Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that extremism and communalism do not go together with the Buddhist policies. Any individual has the right to the proud about their community, religion and culture. However, as Sri Lankans we must practice to tolerate the cultures of other communities and religions. The Prime Minister made these remarks addressing a meeting at Laggala town in Matale today. This meeting has been organized to distribute Samurdhi benefits and land title deeds for the needy people in the Laggala electorate.
