State Minister J.C. Alawathuwala says that the Ministry of Economic Affairs will provide employment for 16,000 graduates. He told SLBC that plans have been drawn up to hand over appointments with effect from 01st of next month after conducting interviews. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will hand over official appointments to 5,000. The Minister pointed out new appointments were given to 5,000 graduates in 2016.
