The Enterprise Sri Lanka Exhibition will commence at the Walisinghe Harischandra Grounds in Anuradhapura, on the 24th of this Month.
The exhibition will be underway until the 27th.
The President and the Prime Minister will attend the opening ceremony.
‘Enterprise Sri Lanka’ exhibitions are organized by the Ministry of Finance to display the entrepreneurial skills of Sri Lanka, and to familiarize the citizens with the development activities launched by the government.
This is the second such exhibition, and comprises over 300 stalls.
At the exhibition, entrepreneurs will be able to avail the services of state institutions and banks, while entrepreneurial advisory services and training opportunities will also be available. The exhibition will cover 7 zones, namely: Entrepreneurial, State and Private Sector, Educational, Blue-Green, Innovations, Commerce, and Media.
In addition, items will be on sale at low prices.
Textiles and garments produced at factories under the Board of Investment can be purchased at the exhibition, at duty-free prices.
A special Consular Service will also be available, whilst visitors can also obtain Legal Aid Services.
An attractive stage featuring weaponry of the tri-forces, together with air craft and displays are also included in the exhibition.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 10.00 am to midnight.
