The seventh phase of the ‘Stand together for the country’ initiative is underway in Jaffna

The seventh phase of the ‘Stand together for the country’ initiative is presently underway in the Jaffna district. It has already given solutions to many public issues and will address the remaining ones before winding up on August 30th. The programmes being planned covers food production, curbing narcotics, prevention of kidney disease, environmental conservation and child protection among other issues. Key among the programmes is the supply of clean drinking water under which main and domestic water purifiers will be installed.
